The Midwest Invasive Plant Network, In cooperation with the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has recently published a great resource for landowners, land managers, and anyone that manages invasive plant species in the Midwest. This new online database can be found at:
http://mipncontroldatabase.wisc.edu/ and allows the user to search for chemical and non-chemical control methods for common invasive species in the Midwest.
All recommendations were reviewed by experts and ranked as to their effectiveness. Users can also refine the recommendation results based upon expertise level, habitat type, and season. This is a great new tool that will provide up-to-date control information for maximizing the effectiveness of your management efforts.
